The Light Remains
THERE ARE SOME WHO BRING A LIGHT SO GREAT TO THE WORLD,
THAT EVEN AFTER THEY HAVE GONE THE LIGHT REMAINS.

Jessica M. Scharp
Jess was a true fighter, a cancer advocate and friend. Most importantly she was an amazing Mother to Jacob and Max, who were her world.
Jess was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and her passion to help others was
instrumental in the formation of SOC-Fund. In 2011, Jess brought together a small group of our family and friends to form this non-profit organization. Since our inception, Jess has been fighting her own personal cancer battle as well as advocating and supporting our community members with a cancer diagnosis. She has done this with grace, courage and determination while inspiring others.
Jess has created a lasting legacy for our community to remember her by.
The SOC-Fund is forever grateful for having jess as part of our family.
In Loving Memory of Jess-

Roger Vasquez
1974 - 2020
Although Roger was not a board member, the Stomp Out Cancer Fund would not be what it is today without his contributions. Our mission as a charity, and as a Board, was personal to Roger-as it was, and is, to the rest of us. Roger (and Jill) went through their own cancer fight with their son, Noah, and were supporters to many others involved in their own fight. Roger's infectious personality and belief in our cause encouraged others to help our charity in so many ways to help make it the success that it is today. Roger's loss has been felt by so many in our community, but none more than here at the SOC Fund.
